Ye gods, a whole article on metabolism - and no O-word?!

It's a whole article about metabolism, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, diet, and exercise....and not a single mention of the "obesity epidemic." They even went so far as to call Britain the 51st State...and still no o-word.

There was a mention of genetics, too - basically saying that high blood pressure had less to do with genetics, and more to do with diet and exercise and "gut bacteria" (mm, tasty!). Still nothing about fat. Eating meat was tied to high blood pressure....still nada on fat.

So, basically (if I'm reading this right), high blood pressure is impacted by diet and exercise, and is neither genetic nor tied to fat. So, eating well and exercising is good for health, and weight has jack-all to do with it.

Wow. I can't wait to see this spun. Or totally ignored. Whichev.
