World Hunger Crisis

On the heels of my announcement earlier today...I received a missive from ONE.org, talking about the precipitous rise in food prices that is wreaking havoc on those most vulnerable to the effects of poverty and lack of access to food and basic necessities. Between biofuels, GMOs, crop subsidies, and unchecked and unjust "free" trade policies...there are hungry people all over the world. I encourage you to visit ONE.org and join their petition to President Bush and the rest of the G8 - asking the richest and most powerful to reach out and help those upon whose backs they got that way.
