Chicagoans rejoice: "America the Beautiful" premieres May 6th!!
The film premieres at 8 p.m. next Tuesday, at AMC River East theater downtown. Free tickets can be had (here). I will totally be there!!
After the premiere, the movie will be playing at the Landmark Century Center Cinema (near Clark & Diversey); movie times haven't been published yet....but the more people who can get out and see the movie the first weekend (May 9-11), the better chances for a wider release. This flick is so powerful, and contains such an important message - I want it to have a chance to get that message to as many people as possible. So, if you're not local, but know someone who is - send them this info! If you're not local, maybe take a weekend trip to Chicago and go see this flick! If you are local...well, I can't imagine any reason you wouldn't want to see this film yourself - but tell everyone you know, too!
