Sorry to keep banging a drum here, but I just stumbled onto this really well written piece by former Vermont governor Madeleine M. Kunin. It lays out some really articulate points about why Clinton is such a great nominee, and - contrary to spin! - that she's not the "conservative" candidate.
Also a really great read, talking about the "beer-drinking-buddy" effect with male voters: this piece from Salon (sorry, I know there's an ad thing if you're not a member - but it's worth reading!).
