Loud-mouthed liberal feminist. Anarchist knitter. Tequila-drinking artsy-smartsy fat chick. Bluesy folk-rock singer-songwriter. Rebel with too many causes. Quirky eclectic pagan poet. Paradoxical intuitive smartass. Sarcastic brainiac insomniac. You know, for starters.

Why there's still hope for this country.

I know it's three years away, but.....Hilary for President!!! Here's why (from Salon.com - subscription necessary, or free day pass with ad viewing):

"There has never been an administration, I don't believe in our history, more
intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda,"
today's New York Times quotes Clinton as saying. "I know it's frustrating for
many of you, it's frustrating for me. Why can't the Democrats do more to stop
them? I can tell you this: It's very hard to stop people who have no shame about
what they're doing. It is very hard to tell people that they are making
decisions that will undermine our checks and balances and constitutional system
of government who don't care. It is very hard to stop people who have never been
acquainted with the truth."

Got it in one, Senator. Now we just need to find her a running mate (could Bill be the Vice President?? I'm checking the Constitution!)....
